ABOUT
Jon Hart is a video editor and filmmaker specializing in documentary, social media, and branded content profiling fascinating people in art, design, entertainment, food, fashion, finance, tech, and sports.
For Surrender Pictures he has produced and edited countless video pieces for auction houses, museums, and art fairs as well as directed the series Design in Mind, broadcast on PBS. (Honors: Webby Award nominated series A Life Less Ordinary, Stylemaker Award honoree at the 14th Annual Taste Awards for Design in Mind: Bunny Williams – Not a House but a Home)
For BSE Global he has created content for the Brooklyn Nets and New York Liberty, as well as the series The Brooklyn Way, hosted by chef Kwame Onwuachi.
In 2023, the documentary feature Merchant Ivory, which he produced and edited, made its festival debut, appearing at DOCNYC, Palm Springs International Film Festival, Cannes Marché du Film, Seattle International Film Festival, BFI Flare, and more. It is set for an international theatrical release in the Summer and Fall of 2024.
He lives in Brooklyn with his girlfriend and two cats, Napoleon and Baby Belle.
